Moringa seed oil is one ingredient. No fragrance, no filler, no water. This guide explains how it is made, how to use it, and how to store it.

What it is

Moringa seed oil is pressed from the seeds of Moringa oleifera. Our seeds are hand-selected and cold-pressed — pressed at low temperature rather than extracted with heat or solvents. Cold-pressing takes longer and yields less oil per kilogram of seed, which is why the bottle is small.

The oil is farmed and crafted in Bali. The trees grow on our own land, and the pressing happens at our own facility a few minutes from the grove.

What is in the bottle

One ingredient: Moringa oleifera seed oil. Nothing added.

Moringa seed oil is naturally high in oleic acid, which is what gives it a light, non-greasy feel and lets it spread thinly across the skin. It also carries the tocopherols and sterols naturally present in the seed.

How to use it

Face

Use 3–4 drops at night. Warm the drops between your palms, then press — do not rub — onto clean, slightly damp skin. Damp skin helps the oil spread further, so you need less.

If you use a moisturiser, apply the oil last. Oil is the heaviest layer in a routine and seals what is underneath it.

Hair and scalp

Work 2–3 drops through the mid-lengths and ends of dry hair. For the scalp, part the hair and apply directly, then leave for at least 30 minutes before washing.

Body

Apply to elbows, knees, cuticles, or anywhere that feels tight after bathing.

Before your first use

Patch test first. Apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm and leave it for 24 hours. If any redness, itching, or irritation appears, stop using the product.

For external use only. Avoid the eye area. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Storage

Store below 30 °C, away from direct sunlight. Close the bottle tightly after use. A cold-pressed, single-ingredient oil has no synthetic stabilisers, so heat and light shorten its life faster than they would a blended product.

Cloudiness in cool weather is normal for a cold-pressed oil and clears at room temperature.

Who it suits

  • Dry or dehydrated skin
  • Skin that feels tight after cleansing
  • Anyone who prefers a routine with fewer ingredients

If you have a known allergy to seeds or nuts, or you are under treatment for a skin condition, speak to your doctor before use.

Common questions

How long does one bottle last?

At 3–4 drops each night, a 30 ml bottle typically lasts around three months of nightly facial use. Using it on hair or body will shorten that.

Can I use it in the morning?

Yes. Use less — one or two drops — and let it absorb before applying sunscreen.

Will it clog pores?

Skin differs from person to person. Start with two drops a few nights a week and increase only if your skin stays comfortable.

Why is the bottle only 30 ml?

Cold-pressing yields far less oil per kilogram of seed than heat extraction. The size reflects the method, not the value.
